He Rourou Whai Painga —

This project is the ambitious, multi-centre dietary intervention study to explore the effects of eating a whole diet that includes high-quality New Zealand food and beverage products.

We had the privilege of creating the brand for the study and then profiling some of the producers that contributed food to the study.

Over the last two years we have visited over 15 food producers all around New Zealand. Hearing the story of their businesses and highlighting why they were proud to be part of the study.

Waikokopu Grove —

Huhana Smith and Richard Anderson were generous enough to welcome us to their property in Kuku, Horowhenua.

On a beautiful morning in October we captured the beauty of their grove and interviewed Huhana about their product and involvement in the study

“Fresh Olive Oil is the best thing you can eat, it’s so healthy”

Pic’s Peanut Butter —

As part of our travels we spent some time in Nelson with Pic’s Peanut butter. We loved learning about what made such an iconic New Zealand business take part in the study.

We also got to go behind the curtain a bespoke tour of the factory to capture the magic in action

“Peanuts are really magical little things”

Little Beauties —

Another beautiful stop in Nelson was the guys at Little Beauties. We chatted to CEO Rob Simcic about the Little Beauties story and what inspired them to be a part of He Rourou Whai Painga

“We know they’re going to enjoy them, but, it’s hopefully going to make them healthier as well”
